SO-LEAD: Helping your teams reach their full potential

SO-LEAD, our Learning & Development platform, to help our clients develop their teams to meet the changing needs of their business. 

We’ve talked to Mari Ilag, Manila Team Leader for one of our clients, about her experiences using SO-LEAD and how it helps her manage the team.

How long have you been using SO-LEAD?

I have been using it for 5 months.

Which SO-LEAD features do you use?

I mostly use LEARN or the Learning activities feature.

What is your favorite thing about SO-LEAD?

My favorite thing about SO-LEAD is it teaches me many leadership strategies, most especially leading through problem solving and decision making.

How does SO-LEAD help you and your team?

It helped me assess my effectiveness as a leader and to understand our abilities and how this can be developed. We've learned important leadership skills and put them into practice in a collaborative setting. The videos/each scenario helped us to picture how we should act in front of our subordinates in a professional way.

Do you recommend SO-LEAD? Why?

Yes! In fact, not just the SO-LEAD but I wanted to recommend other courses or training as it improves skills and knowledge. It prepares employees for higher responsibilities, tests their efficiency, and shows each employee that they are valued. As the saying goes by, learning is always the best experience and I truly believe that 100%. Implementing training programs in the workplace will help employees feel like the company is invested in them. By continuing to teach your employees new skills and abilities, they will not just become better workers, this will improve their morale as they are being recognized.
