MEET THE NEW MEMBERS OF THE SATELLITE OFFICE SUPPORT TEAM
Satellite Office has recently added new talented individuals to help us take our growth to the next gear. We believe that the new addition to our family will further allow us to elevate the quality of services we deliver to our clients and staff.
Antonio Reynaldo Pascual – or more popularly known as Igi – has joined the Satellite Office Recruitment Team last 13 October 2020 as a Recruitment Officer for the Tech vertical. While he was initially hired to do maternity cover, his performance–driven by resourcefulness, confidence, and sheer determination–made the leadership rethink strategy to retain him as a permanent team member (and we were relieved to discover that he was comfortable to become so). He then transitioned from fixed-term employment to permanent last 29 January 2021 and has been integral not only in contributing towards the performance of the team and growth of the company (almost 40 tech hires in 7 months), but in refining the culture of the Recruitment Team with his methodical and careful approach (alongside dry humor and wit, which the team loves).
John Paul “JP” Aragoncillo, our new HRBP, has an extensive background in employee engagement and human resource operations. He has been in the HR field for over 10 years. JP started his career in the fitness industry and considers his transition from health and fitness to human resources as relatively seamless because he believes that customer service is at the heart of both industries.
JP is a 90s fanatic! He is an avid fan of Michael Jordan, has a collector of sneakers (retro 90s of course), and drives his modest but modded '94 Corolla.
Gizelle Lachica, our new Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist, has worked in the fields of Public Relations, Corporate Communication and Branding for eight years, with a particular fascination with writing stories and crafting content for the consumption of specific audiences. Now, venturing into Digital Marketing, she feels ecstatic to explore more creative avenues to communicate Satellite Office’s mission and vision and help the company shift into higher gears in terms of growth.
Going into more personal matters, Gizelle is an extroverted introvert, who loves to devote her time in travelling, gaining new experiences and trying out different cuisines. She had found herself becoming a mom of four rescue cats during the pandemic and now spends most of her time “talking” and playing with them like any other (normal) cat-mom. On a normal day, she likes to cook, work out and watch her favorite TV shows or movies in the background. She is a big Marvel Comics fan and a devoted ARMY, or a big fan of the Korean pop-band BTS.
Marcus Joson, our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, is a recruitment industry professional with 4 years of solid experience in sourcing, candidate management and end to end recruitment. He has strong background in handling profiles under Customer Service, Finance and IT/Technical verticals.
Outside of work, Marcus enjoys reading manga, watching anime and playing video games such as Monster Hunter, DOOM, Starcraft, and Dead by Daylight. He also loves cooking both Filipino and some Western dishes, motorcycling, and building Gundam model kits.
